Outright Online Bookkeeping Reviews

Online Bookkeeping is having something of an identity crisis. The site explains briefly that it was “formerly Outright” and its URL is outright.com, plus there's a GoDaddy logo at the top of the page. It's confusing, but that's not really the end of the issues we had with OnlineBookkeeping. Although it's certainly a low cost option, we felt a little short changed by the lack of features available.

Let's try to be objective about this: considering how cheap Online BookKeeping is, perhaps you shouldn't expect too much. And the features it does have are fine, they're just very average and not very numerous. The site is underdeveloped, too, with a limited help center and a general lack of information regarding the services provided. That considered, they do provide live chat so that you can speak with a customer services representative, or you can submit a request, but that all feels a bit unnecessary at times and they would be better served by simply providing more information on the website. If you're interested in reading some fairly useful articles then you could visit the blog page, which offers regularly updated pieces, many of which are worth a glance over.

If you're interested in accessing your accounts on the move then OutRight.com offers a mobile app to help you do so. Any information you provide is kept on the cloud network, which is secure as it's automatically backed up. You can also pick online accounting products that will suit your business as it grows, meaning there's wiggle room and space for development as your understanding of the software improves.

The automation features provided are probably the main reason to consider OutRight for your accounting needs. These allow you to update your accounts with minimal effort, and they begin from set up. This does make things easier, but it's in no way unique to OutRight and we generally anticipate that growing businesses may wish to opt for a more complex accounting software package than is available here. 

If you're strapped for cash and need a simple accounting system with automation features, you may wish to give Out Right a chance. However, we feel that you can find superior services elsewhere, and for not much more money. Its peculiar URL and overall branding don't inspire us with confidence, either, and there's just not enough information on their website to convince us that they're making as much effort as they should be.
